TANGO NATURAL
Daniel Binelli & César Angeleri
Works by Astor Piazzolla, Paquito De Rivera and Daniel Binelli
 |
The music flows as a conversation between friends in a coffee shop, with
equal passion as others talking about politics or soccer.
It is from this musical chat that a new language naturally evolves, born from rave,
coincidence, trade of ideas, imagination and mutual respect and desagree...we capture the
fantasy that floats in the air. |
They talk about this language as "improvisation", we prefer to
call it "musical chat".
The final product is an innovative tango that we performed several times in different
sets.
It is tango coming from the very inside of each other, unique, it is TANGO NATURAL.

Daniel Binelli at the Sydney Opera House
/ Quoted from simphony.org.au /
Close your eyes for a moment. Now open them! You've been miraculously
transported by the Sydney Symphony from the smoky ambience of Buenos Aires dance
halls to the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. The bandoneon, Argentinas
national musical instrument, has long been an essential part of Tango culture. Now it has
become a sensation throughout the world and its greatest exponent, Daniel Binelli, makes a
return visit to Australia for these concerts. Binelli will perform three key works of
Argentinian composer, Astor Piazzolla, who liberated the smouldering passion of the tango
into the world's concert halls. Also, the great conductor Charles Dutoit will ignite the
Orchestra in the most flamboyant of works, Berlioz Symphonie fantastique.
All performances at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.
